HERITAGE AND SSST LANGUAGES
Dutch, German, Norwegian, Korean, Russian, and other heritage languages, with specific expertise in the IB school-supported self-taught (SSST) Language A: Literature pathway. These students need structured, knowledgeable support from teachers who understand what that pathway requires.
LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION FROM SIXTH GRADE ONWARD
Native-speaker certified teachers who understand IB language teaching, assessment criteria, and the expectations of both MYP and DP language courses. Our teachers also teach middle school and high school language courses, so a student can begin in sixth grade and continue with the same caliber of teacher through the Diploma Programme.

Your school maintains academic oversight and standards, while CHAPTR handles staffing, scheduling, and administration.
How We Think About Partnership
Our teachers become part of your students’ school year. They follow your calendar and stay in contact with your curriculum coordinator, so the student’s program remains connected to the school. Your school keeps academic oversight. We take care of staffing, scheduling, and administration.
We teach students at every stage: from middle school, through high school, all the way to the IB Diploma Programme. A student can start a language with us in sixth grade and continue with the same caliber of certified teacher through their final IB assessments. For your school, that means one partner for the whole journey, rather than a new arrangement every time a student moves up a level.
Every arrangement is shaped around the school. Most schools come to us for languages, and we also provide certified teachers for other IB subjects when a school needs them. If it serves your students and your school, we work toward making it work.
