The IB Diploma Programme: Why It Matters for You
The Diploma Programme is recognised by universities around the world. It asks more of students than most national curricula, and university admissions teams understand that difference.
For students applying to American universities: predicted grades shape early applications and scholarship decisions. Many schools make admissions offers before final IB results are released, which means your predicted grade is, in practice, your application grade.
For students applying to European universities: conditional offers are tied to predicted grades. If the prediction falls short, the place can be withdrawn.
IB grades matter. The earlier you build genuine understanding of each subject, the more reliable your predicted grade, and the stronger your application.
