Chinese B (SL/HL)
CHAPTR House of Education provides expert tutoring for students enrolled in IB Chinese B at both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL). Chinese B develops students’ ability to communicate clearly and confidently in Mandarin while deepening their understanding of Chinese-speaking cultures. Our native-speaking tutors help students strengthen reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, while building the grammatical accuracy and cultural awareness required for IB success.
Students engage with authentic materials such as articles, podcasts, interviews, short films, and literary excerpts. Tutoring focuses on helping students communicate effectively, understand real-world Mandarin, and perform confidently across all IB assessments.
Both SL and HL students study the five IB themes:

HL students also study two literary works and are expected to demonstrate more advanced reading, writing, and interpretive skills.
